Barack Obama has been reelected President of the United States of America as projected by huhuonline.com. Obama polled 303 Electoral votes and 56,249,290 of the popular votes, which represents 50% of the total votes cast. While his opponent, Mitt Romney polled 206 Electoral votes and 54,804,177 popular votes representing 49% of the total votes.

Though all the votes have not been collated,Republican Party presidential candidate Mitt Romney has had to rewrite his 1,118-word victory speech as he conceded defeat and congratulated President Barack Obama.

In his words:“I called the president just before 1 a.m. to congratulate him on his victory. I couldn’t fulfill the hopes of my followers and topple President Obama. This is a time of great challenges for America, and I pray the president will be successful in guiding our nation."

In his acceptance speech, Barack Obama said,” I ran for president because I saw that basic bargain slipping away.I won’t pretend the path I'm offering is quick or easy. I never have. You didn’t elect me to tell you what you wanted to hear. You elected me to tell you the truth. We can choose a future where we export more products and outsource fewer jobs. After a decade that was defined by what we bought and borrowed, we’re getting back to basics, and doing what America has always done best: We’re making things again.”
