Plane Conveying Agagu's Corpse Crashes...Kills 22 Occupants

An Associated Airline aircraft conveying the corpse of Dr. Segun Agagu, former governor of Ondo State from Lagos to Akure, crashed thursday morning, at the local wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport killing all 22 occupants.

Some of the occupants, Huhuonline.com has gathered, include Agagu’s son, Chief Olu Falae's first Son, Deji Falae and other mourners  

The aircraft, according to sources within the airport, crashed just few seconds after take-off.

It crashed close to the reserve for aviation fuel, the jet A-1.

At the time of this report, rescuers were still busy evacuating the casualties while men of the fire service are battling to put out the fire.
