Melaye’s ACN to Hold International Colloquium on Corruption

Civil society group, Anti-Corruption Network (ACN) has announced plans to stage its maiden International Colloquium on Freedom of Information Act, 2011 between the 12th and 13th November 2013.

According to Executive Secretary of ACN and former member of the House of Representatives, Otunba Dino Melaye, the event, themed Demystifying the Complexities: Empowering the People, has been scheduled to take place at NICON Luxury Hotel, Abuja by 10:00am daily.

“Speakers are coming from London, United States of America and South Africa,” Melaye said of the programme. “The programme is going to be certificated and it is free. We want to raise public enlightenment on the Act. We want to use the FoI Act to fight corruption.”
