Justice Kayode Eso Passes @ 87

Huhuonline.com understands that a prominent jurist and retired  Supreme court judge, Justice Kayode Eso has died at the age of 87.

Our checks show that Justice Eso died Friday morning at the Hammersmith Hospital in London where he had been receiving medical attention.

He died of "age-related ailment," according to his family members.

Confirming his death, one of his children, Olumide, said his father had lived more in London since the beginning of this year and only visited the country in October to receive the award of Commander of the Order of the Niger.

"My father, a special being, wonderful and always straight-forward, died this morning," he said

Born in Ilesha, Osun state, on 18th September, 1925 Justice Eso graduated from Trinity College, Dublin with a Bachelor of Law with Honours in Legal Science in 1953. He obtained his Masters in 1956 from the same college.
Justice Eso, who was married to Helen Aina Eso, is survived by two children and five grandchildren
