Armed gunmen suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect have kidnapped over 100 schoolgirls from the Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) Chibok, Borno State.

The girls, aged between 16 and 18, were shanghaied on Monday night, just a day to the beginning of their examination scheduled to start on Tuesday.

Sources told huhuonline.com that the kidnappers forced the pupils away, amidst sorrowful tears, in four trucks, while no security personnel were around to rescue the pupils.
