Overland Airways Plane Crashes in Ilorin

A Nigerian aircraft has crashed in the north central city of Ilorin Nigeria. However, no casualties were recorded sources said.

The aircraft belonging to Overland Air Ways had a minor air mishap as it tried to land at the Ilorin airport at about 5pm. 

Huhuonline.com learnt that the aircraft crashed when its tyres failed to disengage on landing causing the plane to land on its belly before sliding off the run way.

The Overland flight was a combined flight of Ilorin and Ibadan from Abuja. The incident occurred while it was trying to drop Ilorin passengers. The number of people in the aircraft is yet to be ascertained. But sources at the airport said nobody was injured.
