EFCC Grants Reuben Abati Bail

The Former Presidential Spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati has been granted bail.

Abati's was granted bail on Thursday after a week of detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Abati will have to drop his International Passport and produce a surety who is above Level 16 in the Civil Service as part of the conditions for his release from the anti-graft agency’s custody.

While Abati is preparing to go home, the EFCC got a warrant to further detain former FCT Minister, Bala Mohammed.

Earlier,  the Deputy Senate President Senator Ike Ekweremadu, visited Abati, Mohammed and Femi Fani Kayode, Director of Publicity of the Jonathan Campaign Organisation.

It was gathered that Ekweremadu told the detainees that they were paying same price of leadership paid by past leaders.
