Plateau: Two Commissioners Replaced in Minor Cabinet Reshuffle

Governor of Plateau State, Jonah Jang has relieved two commissioners of their duties while three others have new designations in a minor cabinet reshuffle announced on Monday.

Lohfa Bako who was Commissioner for Youth Development and Abdulhamid Gamzaki, who was Commissioner for Transport, are the two sacked state officers.

Former Commissioner for Information and Communication, Abraham Yiljap is now in charge of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture. His own office will now be run by Mrs. Olivia Dazyam who, until the reshuffle, was Commissioner for Women Affairs.

Erstwhile Commissioner for Environment, Mrs Sarah Yusuf has been redeployed to the Women Affairs Ministry, her original office now to be overseen by Dongsar Dongtoe. From his position as Commissioner for Sports, James Yakubu will nor lead the Ministry of Youth Development.

According to Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor, Mr. James Mannok, the nominees for the other ministries would be announced later
